TikTok on Goji — planned channel

Updated Aug 28, 2026

TikTok is not available to connect yet. It is on our roadmap with no committed date. This page sets out what it will and will not be able to do — and TikTok's limits shape that more than most, so it is worth reading before you plan around it.

What TikTok will and will not do

The honest summary first: TikTok has no messaging interface for businesses. Direct messages cannot be read or answered by any tool, ours included. So TikTok will never appear in your inbox, and anyone promising otherwise is describing something the platform does not offer.

What TikTok does offer is content posting, and that is what the channel will use. It is also a video-first platform in the strictest sense: there is no text post, and no image-only post in the way other networks have. That has a direct consequence — an ordinary written article cannot simply be pushed to TikTok, because there is nothing to show.

What it will do when it ships

  • Publish video content where your source material includes a video.
  • Carry the title and description into the post's caption.
  • Respect TikTok's own review, which can hold a post briefly before it appears publicly.

Note the first point carefully. If your workspace publishes written articles, TikTok will have nothing to post for most of them. This channel earns its place for businesses already producing video, not as a way to convert text into reach.

What is holding it up

TikTok gates content posting behind its own application review, and grants it separately from the sign-in access an application may already hold. That review is TikTok's queue and its criteria, and the requirements have changed more than once in recent years. Until production access is granted, offering the button would only produce failures.

What you can do now

  1. Switch to a Business account in TikTok's settings if you have not. It is free and it is required for any tool access.
  2. Sort out where your videos live. The channel will publish video your workspace already has; if your videos exist only on a phone, that is the gap to close first.
  3. Decide what actually suits TikTok. Reposting a promotional clip made for another network performs poorly there. Content made for the platform is the difference between a channel that works and one that quietly fails.

What to use meanwhile

There is no honest workaround for automatic TikTok posting today — Buffer's TikTok support has its own conditions, and no route turns an article into a TikTok video. If TikTok matters to your business now, posting in the app remains the reliable answer.

Common questions

Will TikTok messages come into my inbox? No, and this will not change unless TikTok builds an interface for it.

Can it post my article as a picture? No. TikTok is video; there is no image-only post to use.

Will it schedule posts? Publishing will follow your rules like any other channel, within TikTok's own limits.

Will you announce it? The channel appears in your Channels list when it is ready, and this page becomes the connecting guide.
