Courier sync
Overview
Courier sync connects up to 16 couriers. Bookings create a consignment and tracking number, and inbound webhooks update the order status automatically.
Purpose
Stop entering tracking numbers by hand and keep delivery status live.
Step-by-step guide
- Open Courier Sync in the dashboard and add a courier company with its credentials.
- Set the webhook URL shown for that courier in the courier portal.
- Book a shipment from an order; a tracking number is created.
- Watch the order status update as the courier sends webhook events.
Common mistakes
- Leaving credentials blank for API couriers, which prevents booking.
- Not registering the webhook URL, so status never syncs back.
Best practices
- Use the manual driver for couriers without an API; tracking still records.
- Run a test booking to confirm the connection works.
